Vintage Chinese Shiwan (Shekwan) pottery architectural temple/house figurine, stamped CHINA on the base. Hand-formed with traditional sancai-style glazing in green, ochre, blue and brown tones. These were produced mid-20th century and often used as part of Chinese “Mudmen” village and temple display scenes. Displays beautifully and has great character and age.
