For sale is an extremely rare M42 mount LOMO KO-140M 100mm f1.8 lens. It is a Petzval type.

This is a very bright lens. Although it has no aperture, it takes extremely sharp images even wide open.

Originally, this was an old lens used as a projection lens or cine lens without a focus ring.

This lens has a focus ring (helical focusing mechanism) attached and has been customized for use with an M42 mount. It can focus to infinity, of course, but it has been adjusted to be slightly over-infinity for some leeway.

You can use it directly with M42 mount cameras. For other mount cameras, please use an M42 mount adapter.

As you can see from the images, this is a very sharp lens. These are test shots taken on a balcony using an α7rⅡ. No processing has been done, but the colors are good and the depiction is very sharp.

Depending on the distance and shooting environment, swirly bokeh may also occur.

The closest focusing distance is approximately 70cm.

There are not many scratches, and I think it is in good condition for an old Russian lens. There is no mold or fogging inside the lens.

This lens has been disassembled and cleaned, and dust has been removed as much as possible, but due to the structure, dust is likely to enter, and there may be some minor dust particles. These are minor and do not affect the image quality.

There may be wiping marks or coating scratches specific to this lens on the lens surface, but these are minor and do not affect the image quality.

I think this lens is in generally good condition.

As an aside, if you do not have an adapter, I recommend purchasing a K&F Concept adapter. Inexpensive adapters that can be purchased for under 1000 yen may lack precision, and it is safer to purchase a reliable one. If you have any questions, please ask. I will answer them as best I can.

I am also selling other rare old Soviet lenses, and I plan to increase the number of items, so please take a look.
